The Harrison Family

Donation protected
The Harrison family has had quite a year. A little over a year ago, Eric, the father lost his job and has started his own business. Shellie, the wife has moved to move to a different state to get a job so that they could have childcare for Bella and make it work. The financial struggle was tough with two kids in college and a toddler with a rare lung disease. Since January of this year, they have endured six hospital stays between the 3 children. Two of them being at least a week-long stay. Most recently, Bo their son has been very sick. Doctors still have not been able to diagnose the problem. His doctors put him on disability, however he was denied due to not working long enough while he was in college last year. He has most recently had frequent visits to the hospital including a severe sepsis and hypovolemic shock which almost caused him to lose his life. The local hospital did everything they could but ended up transferring him to Stanford because of how complicated his case was.

Because they have not figured out what is wrong, Bo will continue being tested by immunologists, a gastroenterologist, and an oncologist. While the family is working on getting back on their feet after the job loss, the medical/life bills have become overwhelming and continue to grow as they sort out what is wrong with Bo.

We have the opportunity to rally around them as a community during this challenging time and help with all of the current medical bills that have stacked up, as well as future ones as they continue to find answers for Bo’s critical health issues.
