Restaurant Family Assistance-COVID 19

Bill & I don’t usually post on social media, but we are in a difficult time in the hospitality industry. As we approach our 15th year at Artisanal, we have made so many great relationships with guests, staff, vendors and the community. We built Artisanal on the premise of doing things the right way, having a “sense of place” & having family values.

As many of you know,  we opened Peppervine restaurant in Charlotte,  to rave reviews, but none of this could have happened without the hard work of the team members of Peppervine & Artisanal. Last week was one of the most gut wrenching days of our lives, having to lay off 50+ staff members and not knowing what the next days will bring. We have helped the staff with personal loans and will continue to help in any way possible to get through these difficult times.

We have started a Gofundme page for the staff of Peppervine & Artisanal. Bill, Alex & I will donate $5000.00 to get this started. If you can donate any amount, our family would greatly appreciate it. These funds will go to staff, for food, medical costs, rent and other essentials. Thank you for the patronage over the years and I know we will get through this together.
