Support The Harris Family

Boyd Harris has struggled with serious depression for over 15 years.  After many attempts at different treatments including counseling, medication, and ECT therapy he succumbed to the illness and took his own life.   As one can imagine this has been  a tragic, heartbreaking event for Kathryn and his family. Kathryn is now a single mom to 4 boys ages 13, 11, 8, and 4.  

Boyd was a man of great faith. He was genuine, funny, kind, and good but mostly the highest praise that is so fitting to him is that he was a great dad; a super hero to his kids. He loved sailing, skiing, mountain biking, and was driven by fun, but would not have enjoyed any of it without his boys and his wife. They were the center of his world as he was the center of theirs.  He saw through so much of the world that doesn’t matter but never missed a moment to share his love and his time with his sons. They were his reason for continuing to fight as long and as valiantly as he did. 

Sadly, Kathryn now faces financial burdens.   This fundraiser will go far to help pay for family counseling, pay medical bills, and time to secure new income.  And it will allow her some time to grieve with her children.
