Zimele Missions Trip to South Africa

Hello!
My name is Jonathan Liu and I'll be joining my church, Metro Community Church, and Zimele USA on an ambassador trip to South Africa from September 21st through September 30th, 2019.
What is Zimele USA?
Zimele is a non-profit organization that addresses the root causes of poverty in South Africa by empowering women to be self-sufficient. What makes this organization so unique is its mission to educate and equip women with the financial and life skills to help them take ownership of their own future. That is why this organization is called Zimele, which means "standing on your own two feet" in Zulu.
Why now?
For the last 6 years, I was unable to attend any of these missions trip because of my work schedule. However, in the last year, I've been able to faithfully make changes to my career path and now with a more stable and grounded job, I felt God opening doors and calling me to go to South Africa to witness what our church has been doing in these last 12 years.
Our Goal
Our short term mission/goal for this trip is to witness what God is doing in South Africa through Zimele USA and Zimele Wethu to break down the barriers of race, social class and culture and to learn to love one another. Our long term goal is to bring back what we learned and experiences so that we may be able to spread awareness and continue to support what God is doing through Zimele.
