Project Pawz is a local dog rescue group in Corsicana, Tx (an hour south of Dallas). There are 20+ dogs in the care of the rescue at any given time and, as any dog lover knows, that means that for a number of reasons separate quarters are necessary (medical reasons, personality differences, etc). If you have followed Project Pawz as of late you know that one of our dogs, George, has been dealing with G.I. issues and is struggling to put on weight. Because of this he needs to have more freedom to free feed throughout the day and deal with any stomach issues that arise. Unfortunately some of the current kennels have seen better days! Rusting, rotting, and subsequently holes leave room for possible escapes or accidents. We are desperately needing help with funding for two new kennels (panels, railroad ties, roof coverage). Our dogs deserve the safety and room to move around during work hours, until we are able to let them run in the big yard for play time! I have posted a picture of a couple of our dogs modeling what our kennel setups look like (above). These kennels will last about 10 years, so frequent replacement is not necessary. Any help is greatly appreciated, by Project Pawz and most importantly the dogs!
*I have also attached a couple pictures of our precious George, for those of you that aren't familiar with his current condition (and his adorable face!)*
And a BIG THANK YOU from Baxter, for any future donations or shares!
