Help pay for Leo’s surgery

Donation protected
Leo is Liberty High School's favorite dog! Leo is our facility dog and his job is to come to school each and every day. He helps any student or staff member with anxiety, stress or to anyone having a bad day. He attends concerts, sporting events and supports all of Liberty's activities. He is especially vital to our ABLE program where the students learn how to care for him by bathing, grooming and taking care of an animal. He is patient and loving with every single person he meets. He brings joy, smiles, hugs, kisses and his sweet personality without fail.

Last night, Leo had to have emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in his intestines. He is having to remain in the vet hospital for two days to make sure he does not have any infection and is well enough to go home with his mom, Ms. Amor. As you know, Ms. Amor is a dedicated faculty member who brought Leo to Liberty. As his owner, she is assuming all of the costs associated with his care. The current cost has exceeded $5000 and may increase. We ask the Liberty community to rally around and show our support to Ms. Amor and Leo. Leo never asks for anything from us. His sole purpose is to give.

Any excess funds raised will go to start a Leo Scholarship to help fund a facility dog for another public school through Canine Angels Service Team.
