Remembering Tomika and Supporting her Boys

Tomika Montgomery, 25 years of age lost her life on 10/1/2020 after being declared brain dead. She leaves behind several loved ones, family members and close friends - but most importantly her two boys, Messiah and Malachai. Tomika was a wonderful friend, mother and daughter. She expressed great aspirations for her life, however she was constantly being victimized in domestic violence disputes, and other traumatic experiences in her life. Despite her lifestyle as a surviving victim, Tomika never stopped from caring for her children and loving them with all she had, unconditionally - and she did this for almost anyone she loved. Her heart was pure as gold, she was a very bubbly person, always speaking words of encouragement and loved to just enjoy life.
Tomika's death has caused so much shock, anger, hurt and uncertainty for the family. Her mother, Ms. Kim is a member of the deaf community is now caring for the children as a sole provider. Ms. Kim is determined to give these sweet boys a sustainable life and future, while ensuring her daughter can be put to rest the way she deserves so I (Krissy Huguely, a childhood friend of Tomika's) created a GoFundMe page for the family. We are in need of financial assistance to ensure the family can adapt to this traumatic loss without having much financial strain and in securing funeral arrangements and finances for Tomika.
