I never thought in my life that I would come into a situation like this. Not only am I in hospital for many months to come. I may not ever be able to walk again. My version of Guillain-Barre Syndrome is the most aggressive type. The doctors are trying to stop it spreading to my brain and respiratory system.  I am autonamo here in Spain and I am now unable to work for a loooooong time. My treatment is a blood dialasis every 2nd day to fight the virus along with ma y other medications. I am in extreme pain but they give me morphine and other strong pain killers but it still doesn't take the pain away.
I will have to pay for my own physio therapist and all other cost which will come during the unknown time to recuperate if my body starts to respond to treatment. If that day ever actually comes. I am still choosing to be positive as that is who I am.
Right now I am panicking as I have my 2 young daughters, our animals the rent and bills are pilling up. Not only for day to day things but also the medical condition I have.  Therefore for the first time in my life I am obliged to swallow my pride and ask you all for any possible help. I feel embarrassed and extremely upset. I have a person helping me write this as my hands no longer function either. Please don't get upset by this message and suggest I could have solutions any other way, the reason I am writing this is because I don't. Any amount is helpful right now. Big hugs. Charlotte.
