Help Puerto Rico Rise

Hello, my name is Amanda Chaparro. I am from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on the north side of the island, also a NCAA Division I ex-volleyball player from Arkansas State University. I'm born and raised here in the island. On Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 we got hit by a Category 5 Hurricane named Maria. This has been to worst hurricane recorded in P.R. since early 1900s. My neighborhood and the entire community are devastated from this hitoric event. However, I am content that our entire community is alive and cooperative amongts the situation, though around the island we have lost many lives. Maria left us unprepared and speechless. Her strong winds broke every tree around the island, even roads and utility posts broken. It's going to take 6 months to a year inorder to have everything gained back to normality in Puerto Rico. In regards to my community, many things have been lost. In addition, my mom has a Jr Female Softball Team, and many of these girls from our community are currently homeless. We have no water, no electricity and barely have any communication. Food is getting scarce, as well. My primary goal is to rebuild my neighborhood and community to its normality. Any donations would be higly appreciated to bring first aid, water, food, and utilities for reconstruction. Thank you for your payers.
