HELP DANNI FIGHT BRAIN CANCER

When our daughter Danni was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer called Anaplastic Astrocytoma Her life took a drastic turn in a direction that was never anticipated. Having to watch-on as your daughter struggles through a year of major surgery, radiation and Chemotherapy is one of the most difficult things a parent could experience, however, as a dad that adores his daughters it’s heart wrenching to be so powerless, so incapable, unable of protecting them from something so horrible. Cancer creates many emotional and physical changes in both the cancer patient and surrounding family, but when you add financial stress to the mix it becomes overwhelming. Over the last 12 months one thing was evident – the medical industry mostly believes in one method of treating cancer, however, when you research what type of treatments are available you’ll find more than just the conventional types they currently offer within Australia. One of the more positive forms of treatments available is called Whole Body Hyperthermia, unfortunately, Germany is far more advanced with this form of treatment and it does come at a personal cost.
