Zayden Storey

On Monday , August 27th our precious 4 year old Zayden was involved in an accident that left him pinned between a car and pole for long enough to do horrific damage.

He was airlifted to the nearest Children’s Hospital where he is now sedated, intubated, has had blood transfusions and has already undergone 3 of many needed surgeries. Surgeries to help correct a scattered pelvis, tailbone, broken femur, and very large abdominal/groin wound amongst other things. The injuries are worse than what we originally thought and they are flying in specialists to help our baby. Our sweet boy will be hospitalized for at least 3 months. If all goes as planned , rehab will begin thereafter and will be a long difficult road for not only poor little Zayden but also his family. Mom, Dad, Grandma and Aunt are all currently distraught and out of work. They are hoping to slowly begin to return to work and take turns being with Zayden but are devastated to have to leave his side. Things are extremely rough right now.

‼️Update: Wednesday Aug 29. Zayden opened his eyes, looked at Che (mommy) with a tear that fell down his cheek. She asked if he was okay and he gently shook his head yes and fell right back into his induced coma WHAT A BRAVE BABY BOY!!
