Zara's End of Life Expenses

As many of you know my beautiful greyhound Zara was recently diagnosed with cancer.  There are many options for treatment out there but none is going to extend her life more than 6-8 months.  At this time Rebecca and I have chosen to have Zara stay at home and manage her pain with the help of our vet.  At this time she is still able to get around and able to do her daily things with little to no pain.  We have found a vet near us that is willing to come to our home and help her cross that rainbow bridge when the time comes.  This diagnosis took us both by surprise, although it has always been in the back of our minds due to greyhound being prone to it.  My current budget is not going to be able to come up with the funds as quickly as we will be needing this vet's service.   Any bit of help you can give would be greatly appreciated and will be paid forward when another is in need.  This dog is such an important piece of our lives and we are both incredibly sad to think we will be losing our girl.
