Zaire and Spikey’s medical costs

Hi Folks, 

This fundraiser has been a long time coming. We made it in 2018 after me and oddly enough, my pup, had gone through a series of medical emergencies around the same time. Since then, Spikey has stabilized and is living his best old pup life. I, on the other hand, have not been so lucky. I am seeing multiple specialists, am managing multiple autoimmune conditions, am still going through tests diagnostics for some underlying issues, and am now preparing for surgery. Needless to say, I have a lot going on medically and need some additional support. 
Additionally, fundraising for two years has been stressful and exhausting and hasn't allowed for much time to rest or focus on my health. This is my last push to fulfill my goal so that I can redirect attention from fundraising to centering my health. 
To be transparent here is where funds will go:
- Co-pay for surgery
- Pain procedures not covered by insurance (goal of at least 12 monthly treatments)
- Costs of deliveries to decrease COVID exposure 
- Care assistance (paying folks to help with care such as laundry and errands)
