Zainab Abdullai Osteosarcoma Treatment

Zainab Abdullai is a 10-year-old child from the Northern Region of Ghana. She is from a village called Yong-Dakpemyili, a suburb of Tamale. Zainab has her left knee amputation done at the Baptist Medical center at Nalerigu in the North East Region following her earlier diagnosis of Osteosarcoma (cancer of the born). On the 22nd of November, 2020, she was referred to Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) for chemotherapy. However, after several tests, miss Zainab was referred to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for further consultation and treatment. In her referral letter, Dr. Yaninga H. Fusein, a Pediatric Rheumatologist-TTH wrote; "Patient mobilizes on clutches and the stump is clean with no discharges or erythema. Her FBC  showed mild anemia of 9.9g/dl, HIV negative, normal renal, and liver function test. A chest x-ray is normal, metastases to the lung, and an x-ray of the stump is normal. We are therefore referring her for further evaluation for possible chemotherapy." 
Ever since Miss Zainab's referral to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, the family has outspent all their resources on the weekly costly therapy and currently left with nothing to spend. The hospital has come out with the remaining cost of miss Zainab's chemotherapy to be at least Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis ($6000) equivalent. Miss Zainab needs this money urgently to save her life and hence this appeal. The family since the diagnosis has spent at least Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis ($3,600) on her treatment and other related costs. Failure to raise this amount puts little Zainab's life in further danger. We are therefore appealing to individuals, philanthropies, and organizations to come to our aid to save little Zainab's life. No donation is small or big, please chip in the little that you have to help us save our beloved Zainab's. Zainab is full of life and hope of becoming a nurse one day to help save lives.
