Zach’s school skiing trip to Italy

In Zach’s second week of secondary school he came home excitedly with a letter about a school skiing trip to Italy. However, priced at a whopping £860, we explained that it was a lot of money so he put his thinking cap on and thought of ways he could help contribute.

That’s when he came up with a brilliant idea of volunteering 1hr a week of his time to do litter picking!

As a family who are passionate about sustainability, we thought this was a great idea and fully support him with this decision and will also help him with the process. As Zach races some weekends, we agreed we would do it on non-race weekends starting from the beginning of October up until the end of the year.
