Zach’s Medical Funds

On Saturday, July 14 my brother Zachary was involved in a boating accident and shattered his c6 vertebrae and damaged his spinal chord. He had surgery the next day to replace his vertebrae and had to be on a ventilator. He was in the ICU for a few days, then the neuro floor, and now is in inpatient rehab relearning how to walk, write, bathe, and do every day activities. He has been in the hospital for 8 days so far, and his doctors will meet soon to decide how much longer he has to be in the hospital. Once out, he will still have to do outpatient therapy and has a long road of recovery ahead. He’s going to be out of work a minimum of 3 months which means he unfortunately will receive no income during his recovery process. He is living with his girlfriend currently and we don’t want all of the bills to be on her as she will be balancing a job and taking care of him. We’re not looking for a crazy amount of money at all, just something to help them stay afloat as Zachary recovers and help with his med bills and loss of income in his time of recovery.
