Zach Dyer, a Junior at Chapel Hill High School in Tyler, Texas was in a car accident this past weekend.
He is currently in ICU, unresponsive, and doctors have had to remove a part of his skull to relieve swelling of the brain. At this moment, doctors and nurses are exclaiming the power of prayer. His mother sent this text out a little while ago:
"Zach had a CT scan at 3 this morning. Just got the news. The pressure in his brain ARE GOING DOWN!! We are NOT by any means out of the woods! But 3 scans that get better each time. Dr said it's NOT what he expected at all! He knows what has happened. Everyone of his nurses have prayed without being asked to. Dr Detwiler has prayed. All of my CH family has prayed. He is answering prayers. Don't stop. I'm not satisfied with him just living I want a FULL recovery. Thank you prayer partners. I can't express how much I love you. Missy"
Here is what the family needs---
Missy has some time available to take off for leave, but it is UNPAID leave. She also is worried about gathering the money to pay the insurance deductible. They have a lot of needs, including needing money for medical bills, groceries, as well as just their general monthly needs to survive each month and to take care of their other children.
I asked her permission to set up this account so that out of everything going on, providing for the family would not be an issue if she needs to take time off from teaching.
No amount is too small. I set the goal for $5000, but whatever amount is raised will be used to help this family. Wouldn't it be a true testimony if we were able to raise more than was needed to allow this family time to be together without worry?
