Zachary Morris (formerly CADBURY) needs to go to training!

Hello all! It's me, the 10-month-old spunky pup you know as "Cadbury" (Now my name is Zachary Morris) from Oakland County Animal Shelter! I was "Saved By The Bell" from the shelter on 4/17/2024! I am a volunteer fav! My rescue is the 501c3 non-profit HANK'S HEROS! I am so very grateful to them for giving me a chance! You see, I was very stressed and afraid at the shelter. Shelters are loud and crowded and I just want to play and be a pup! Because I've had no formal training, I can be a bit "mouthy." But this is nothing some training, patience, love, and structure can't fix! I'm a baby dog and I deserve a chance at life! Please help send me to Sam Fey's 4 week training program so I can get ready for adoption to a great furever family!

Here's what my rescue transporter says about me: "He is sweet as can be in the car! He was relaxed and we had to drive several hours. Took his treats gently and never barked or growled once. He's going to make a family very happy!" I am just fearful and a bit weary of people. Understandably, I've had a stressful life so far. But I am excited to decompress and learn to trust people w/ my trainer Sam!

Sam is a very seasoned, empathetic, patient trainer. She has worked professionally as a trainer for six years and comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by rescues. She works with all types of dogs from different breeds, backgrounds, and issues. She started training and helping rescue dogs in honor of her "heart dog" named Taz who passed from cancer. Taz was an abuse case that came to her nine years ago; after he was starved and dumped by his owners.

Sam is passionate about giving dogs the second chance at life they deserve! That is what she will do for Zachary!

As well all know, training can be costly and rescues are run on donations and volunteers. We have 2 weeks to raise $2,800 for Zachary's training. No contribution is too small. It will go straight to Hank's Heros and it is tax deductible. Please share our gofundme for Zachary!
