BAILEY'S BUDDY BENCHES

Keeping Bailey's spirit alive while creating a legacy of kindness in his honor has been our goal since October 8, 2013.
Bailey had just started kindergarten and was weeks from turning 6 when he was killed in a car accident. Our family created Bailey's Heartprints in his honor. The mission of Bailey's Heartprints has been to promote Bailey's legacy of kindness through the granting of scholarships, purchasing and installing buddy benches and to share Bailey's story to elementary school students to create empathy and have them focus on being kind by becoming Heartprint Heroes.
To date we have granted scholarships to 25 students, amounting to over $6000. We have purchased our first two buddy benches that will be installed this school year. We have had over 1000 students participate in our Heartprint Hero program over the last few years. And last year we were able to conduct school assemblies, presenting Bailey's story to elementary school students, encouraging and igniting their empathy for others, resulting in another 100 students becoming Heartprint Heroes!
We have one fundraiser per year, Bailey's Halloween Spooktacular Ball. Over the past 6 years we have made enough profit to continue scholarships, and last year our goal to start purchasing buddy benches was met! This year, while we cannot have our traditional Ball, we have created some fun photo contests. We are asking for free will donations directly to this go fund me in order to purchase more buddy benches next year.
We want to thank everyone who has supported Bailey's Heartprints over the past 6 years. We have been blessed by volunteers, donations of time, goods and money to help with Bailey's Halloween Ball. And very thankful to all of those who have attended to spend time with family and friends and to remember our sweet boy.
