Thank you for being here, I’m Jess a local restaurant worker here in Lynchburg Virginia. Originally from pittsburgh, I’m setting all of my pride and ego to ask for help. I have been off work since Jan 8th due to dislocating my ankle and ORIF surgery.
In the past when I was younger I have always chose the path with the instant answer. The easy fix. These last few years I’ve chosen to live my life in a better light. I’m trying to learn how to adult correctly even though I don’t seem to be doing it right. I know quick ways to fix things in my life right now, but I’m not trying to live like that anymore. I’m asking for help which I never do. I’m showing that I am weak. Yet still strong because I’m choosing the harder road right now and that’s to go with nothing.
If you are able to donate it will help me pay for my household bills until I can walk enough to get back to work. Currently I do have interfaith outreach looking into getting me a ramp. A ramp will allow me to go back to my job that is waiting. I do not have short term disability or food stamps , no income until I can get back there.
