Help a struggling sister

Assalamu aleykum, dear all,

I am fundraising for a dear friend of mine who has been struggling for a while. A victim of domestic abuse, she has fled a turbulent life with her young children and is now trying to piece back some form of normality and stability for herself and her children.

She has been moved from refuge to refuge and is often at the mercy of a faltering support system that can be more detrimental than supportive.

By the will and grace of The Almighty, she is moving to a flat in another area on Monday in shaa Allah however has no furniture nor appliances and is low on finances.

She is all too often reluctant to accept gifts and donations however I feel this time will be an exception.
