Help us clean our Oceans

October is Global Diversity Awareness Month. It’s a time dedicated to increased awareness of the important need to celebrate our diversity collectively. The world is full of diverse cultures and traditions that teach us tolerance and respect.

 

Talking more about diversity could show us all that we need to learn from the other cultures, especially regarding the way we’re treating our environment. With the growing pollution, each of us should already have come together to act to stop this madness.

 

It is something that affects so many of us more and more, 88% of the sea's surface is polluted by plastic waste, yet is still treated as a minor topic.

 

Following our own experiences we are launching “Elements," a non-profit 501(c)3 with a mission to clean the oceans and raise awareness of the plastic pollution issue locally and globally.

 

Elements will organize clean up campaigns, and will sell organic cotton T-Shirts designed especially to bring environmental awareness. Each T-Shirt sold will help to get our clean-up team with cleaning bags and gloves made with recycled materials. Our clean-up campaign will begin in the islands of the Caribbean, Atlantic Ocean this year, 2021.

 

To mark the launch of our new venture we aim to get 5000 bags as a meaningful gesture for everyone experiencing pollution problems in their country.
