My name is Humberto Gomez and this is a video I made to help fundraise for a short-term international service-learning program in Pondicherry, India. The ultimate goal of this fundraising effort is $1500. All of these funds must be raised before March 2nd.

On a human services level, this an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of alternatives of more sustainable ways of living, within the spheres of health care, village development and education that could possibly be implemented in the United States.

On a personal level, participation in this program would provide a multidimensional glimpse of Indian culture, its history, philosophies, and its society. This program offers an in-depth exploration of India and what she has to offer to the world at large within a short span of 23 days.

All in all, being able to partake in this program would be immeasurably beneficial towards my development as a human service professional, as well as, a global citizen.
