For my dad, my hero

Hi I’m Tasha, a 16 year old daughter of Danial Abdullah from Malaysia. I’m fundraising for my dad’s journey to recovery.

My dad suffered a series of heart attacks. He is in critical condition and is on life support .

On 11th Oct, my father flew from Malaysia to Utah for a business convention. On that Saturday, only a few days after his arrival, my dad had chest pains and shortness of breath. He was immediately rushed to the emergency room at Salt Lake City Regional Medical Center. Since then he has encountered 5 episodes of heart attacks of which 2 that happened right in front of my eyes.

Due to the multiple heart attacks, his heart is extremely weak and the damage is very severe. It has damaged many organs in his body including his kidneys and liver. He’s on many different medication and treatments, along with that he is hooked up to machines including a ventilator for life support in the ICU. Doctors said that his recovery will take months due to all the injuries in his system.

He does everything he can to provide the best for us, to give us an experience of things he never had growing up, even if it means overworking himself. My dad has always been willing to help. He’s an amazing and loving father. One of a kind. I wish for him to be there for the major milestones in my life.

Our insurance coverage and savings is unlikely to be enough to cover his medical expenses due to the currency exchange rate. We ask of your understanding and kindness. Any amount donated would help him a lot. Please do include him in your prayers. Thank you so much for your kindness and thoughts.
