Hurricane Maria relief & rebuild

Our names are Debbie & Chris and we recently went through a Category 5 hurricane in Puerto Rico. The eye hit 20 miles away from our town and lasted a good 30 hours with gusts up to 216mph. We sustained damage to our home as well as loss of personal items such as clothing, shoes, furniture, and water damage. With all the destruction most business are not able to open leaving us without work or a way to make money. We are entering our 2nd month with no power or water but we are staying positive and taking steps to make sure we can get by with collecting water from a spring for showering and getting creative with canned meals. Our options are limited as we do not Want to leave our home. We have built our life here together and Will continue to stay to help others. We have helped many families here with donations of food and supplies but now we need the help . We need to replace doors, our roof needs to be releveled and resealed, we need to rebuild proper drainage, as well as purchase clothing that was lost due to water damage.  Please consider helping us to rebuild our life and to continue to help others. We are so extremely grateful for you all and taking the time to read about our plea.
Whatever no start donations we receive which are not used go to other families in need of rebuilds.
