Hi Everyone,
My name is Michele and I am raising money on behalf of my boss, John.
John has found himself unable to leave Cambodia due to a complete lack of commercial flights since the outbreak of COVID-19.
John has been traveling to Cambodia several times a year since 2012 and observed the need for health supports within the community. John established a fund to assist in providing these supports.
John established 'Healthy Lives Cambodia' to raise and distribute funds. When in Cambodia, John works out of a clinic in Phnom Penh donating all necessary medical supplies, medications as well as arranging and financing pathology, scans, transportation, vaccinations and education for people that can not access medical treatment. John also provides Physiotherapy.
John is my Regional Manager in Australia, within an NGO that supports people effected by methamphetamine misuse.
John is a giving and caring person who, as you can see, takes holidays from one job to continue to care for people in a volunteer capacity (what a legend).
John could potentially be in Cambodia for several months needing to pay for accommodation and living expenses OR in a best case scenario, commercial flights become available and he will need access to funds to purchase a ticket to return home.
Money raised will go directly to John and any contributions left over will be donated to Healthy lives Cambodia to assist those vulnerable during this pandemic.
