Jordan rennie bike collision

Donation protected
Hi my name is Leighan.
I am hoping to raise some money to help my son Jordan who sadly got into a serious collision on his bike in Miami.
My son Jordan is 28 was very excited to go to Miami, as a mother I decided to surprise Jordan on Christmas morning with a ticket to Miami not knowing what nightmare was to come.
17th February 2023 Jordan set off , 1 hour before the collision he went to pick up the bike he was using and set of following a SatNav, as he approached some lights that were on green he proceeded through the lights as a car on the opposite direction smashed into the side of Jordan and he said his life flashed before his eyes.
On the morning of 17th February 2023 I was woken by a call from Jordan screaming for my help as he was lay in the road with serious injuries to his foot the phone was suddenly disconnected.
Jordan lay for 1 hour with no assistance until a kind gentleman stopped to help and quickly took Jordan to the nearest hospital. The hospital massively mistreated Jordan and had NO skill to deal with the type of injuries he had arrived with, later an ambulance arrived 4am Miami time to take Jordan to ‘Jackson Ryder Trauma Centre’
The surgeons quickly decided that in order to save Jordan’s life that he would need to have his foot amputated.
At this point I received another call from a medical assistant in Miami asking for consent to amputate Jordan’s foot as Jordan was refusing to give any consent for the operation to take place, as a mother this by far had to be the hardest decision I’ve ever been asked to make on the other end of the phone 100s of miles away and not knowing the extent of the injury’s myself and Jordan begged the doctors to please try and save Jordan’s foot as a amputation was the last thing we wanted.
Sadly there was nothing more the doctors could do to help Jordan’s foot and to save his life the operation needed to go ahead.
By now I knew I needed to be there by my sons side so with the help of family and friends together they all helped to buy my flight to Miami to be with Jordan so that same day I rushed to be with him, it had to be the longest, hardest day of my life anxious, upset sat on a plane wondering what lies ahead of us. I later that night arrived at the hospital with Jordan.
Jordan has since had a second operation and will have a third on Wednesday and then we will find out when Jordan can leave and return home.
As you can imagine this has been really hard for us all. But we are beyond grateful that Jordan is still here with us.
With Jordan having all these life threatening injuries and a series of operations and medication we would be forever grateful for even the smallest amounts of donations towards Jordan’s medical expenses.

Thank you all so much
