Rest In Peace - Demetrius Lanier

This is for my lil brother Demetrius Lanier aka Pookie who was fatally shot five times in the chest this morning by someone who walked up to his driveway. This lost is very hard for the family and we did not expect to be planning a funeral.

   My brother was raised in Atlanta Ga with 4 brothers, Anthony, Antwon, Tevin, and Javonny, by my strong mother Charlotte Jones. After we sadly lost her May of 2018, we all had to step up to be men. He always stayed true to his family and people closest to him. It hurts so bad as I type this, because he was striving to be great even though it was so much negativity that  surrounded him. Many People can vouch when I say, He never tried to be someone he wasn't and that's real.  He was not only a rapper but a family man and visionary. No matter what he was exposed to he never lost sight of his morals. 

  This will help us plan for the funeral and make sure he rest in peace.
