Help Autumn and her Family

On August 19th, my nephew and his wife took their sweet girl, Autumn, who is only 5, in for dental surgery for a few extractions and fillings. Being that she was so young, she was put under, all seemed to go well, and she went into recovery. 
45 minutes after Autumn was taken to recovery, the doctor notified her parents, Spencer and Brittany, that she was having difficulties. 
30 minutes later, an ambulance was en route to take her to the hospital, and Spencer and Brittany had no idea what was going on.
By the time she got to the hospital, Autumn was in critical condition, and chest tubes had to be inserted to relieve the air pressure in her chest cavity which caused her lungs to collapse. 
Shortly after, she was stabilized, and she had to get x-rays to see if any internal damage had been done and if it needed to be addressed before being air lifted to PICU in Saskatoon. 
By the next morning, Autumn was still under sedation, and ventilated, with doctors checking her vitals around the clock, and a feeding tube had to be inserted.
By August 22, it seemed that Autumn was on the mend and she was discharged to go back home to Regina, with her parents, and to her little brother Hunter. 
A day later, she started having trouble breathing again, so they took her back to the RGH.
By August 25, she was air lifted back to the Saskatoon PICU. 
August 30, Autumn was discharged again, with powerful steroids, and under strict instructions to be isolated for one month. Autumn could not attend school, or daycare, or see her friends for the month of September. 
October 2, Autumn went for a follow up appointment, and found out that she still has scarring on her upper air way and will need to go to Edmonton for an intensive operation, and when she comes home, she will still be under isolation. 
The injury that Autumn sustained, from what should have been a simple dental surgery, is a bilateral pneumothorax and it was caused by a Doctor bypassing the ventilator and connecting high pressure oxygen directly to her lungs causing them to perforate and collapse. The upper air way damage was caused by over inflation of the cuff which seals the tracheal tube to the air way. 
Once in Edmonton, Spencer and Brittany will find out what life changes and restrictions Autumn will have as a result of this mistake.
Doctors told Autumn's parents that she was touch and go for a while, and that they almost lost her. 
Aside from the physical and mental trauma that this has caused this usual energetic girl, unable to see her friends, it’s been taking its toll on Spencer and Brittany as well. 
Aside from being unable to sleep, taking shifts throughout the night to make sure that Autumn is still breathing, and the worry that their daughter is sick, the financial strain has been extensive as well. 
It’s been a month and a half, since one or both parents must be with their daughter, and the amount of days they are missing from work is stacking and will only continue to stack. 
Everyone says "Just sue!"  This takes time, and more money, which they don’t have. 
Between going back and forth to Saskatoon, cost of hotels, medications, gas, missed work, the stress, and now an extended trip to Edmonton- this couple is needing help.
Watching my family go through this is very hard, I can’t imagine as a parent what this must be like for them.
