Kirstie George ❤️

At the young age of 28 years old, Kirstie was diagnosed with an aggressive type of cervical cancer. Following surgery and an intense round of chemotherapy, Kirstie was given the all clear.

Unfortunately, aged 30 the cancer has returned and is in multiple places in her body and she has been given a terminal diagnosis. Kirstie has 2 young children, Issy and Ivy and is married to Luke of whom she adores. Kirstie wants to live for as long as possible for them.

Kirstie is undergoing intense radiotherapy following an unsuccessful round of chemotherapy. At the moment she is waiting to hear if there are further treatments available in the UK that may prolong her life. At the moment we just want her to keep making memories with her family until further treatment is offered.

Kirstie does not moan, she’s so positive and keeps everybody together, we are in complete awe of her. With her courage and bravery so far she has already beaten cancer once, this may not be able to be the case now, but let’s give her the best chance to spend as much time with her young children and family as possible.

If you would like to follow Kirstie’s journey, follow @thepointwhereiamscared on Instagram for regular updates.

Please like and share this status, especially to help raise awareness of the importance of smear tests, Kirstie is sharing her experience so bravely to help make a change.

Thank you ❤️
