Alljoy4Paw 's campaign for Baylee's pelvic surgery
Here is beautiful Baylee that was saved from Riverside shelter. She is only one year old and was dumped at the shelter night box. She came with a broken right leg and pelvis. No one knows what happened to her, but she was probably hit by a car. Due to her injuries, she was placed on Code Red right away.
We could not let this baby die. Even though she is in pain, she is still such a happy sweet girl to everyone she meets. She is definitely a champ!
We have taken sweet Baylee for a consultation with a orthopedic surgeon. Her leg fracture will heal with a splint, but she does need surgery to repair the damage done to her pelvis. This will give her the best quality of life.
Baylee will get bloodwork done this week before the surgery to determine whether she is healthy enough. Tentatively we have scheduled her surgery next week.
Please help us fix Baylee's pelvic fracture. She has her whole life ahead of her and she will be back to herself in no time!
