Jake’s Surgery

Our sweet baby boy cat Jake was recently hit by a car. We heard him crying outside a couple nights ago and rushed to our driveway to find  him bloody and unable to walk. We’re Not exactly sure where or how it happened but the brave thing he is he managed to crawl as close to home as possible. He needs a surgery to repair a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. Our vet says the surgery is called a femoral head ostectomy or FHO and will lead to a more or less full recovery. Without it he may heal but will likely be unable to run, jump or walk normally and will live with chronic pain. He’s so bummed out right now, on pain killers and unable to move, having to be hand fed. We just want to get him fixed up as soon as possible. There are a thousand worthy causes but hopefully you can help ours!  It would mean the world to us and Jake.
