Hi friends!
This January I will be headed to Kona, Hawaii for a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with the organization YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I have spent months praying, discerning, and finally decided to attend this program - I am SO EXCITED! I feel like God is shifting things in my life right now and he is going to use these 6 months for something extraordinary. I will be participating in a track called Compassion Ablaze which seeks to "demonstrate the love of Jesus through acts of mercy. Our heart is for the margins of society and for issues of injustice – for women and children-at-risk, those caught in the trap of systemic poverty, those without a voice, the homeless, those struggling with life addictions, and those have been sexually abused, trafficked or enslaved. We don’t just want to talk about bringing the joy and freedom of the Gospel to the hard places, we want to actually do it, to do whatever it takes to bring the presence and fragrance of heaven to those too often forgotten."
I will spend 3 months in Hawaii for a lecture/training phase before being sent out to a different nation for 3 months of outreach. I have felt such massive waves of encouragement and love through this process, and am so grateful for all of the support that I have. I am raising money here for the Outreach portion of my DTS in which I will be serving abroad. This money goes towards food, housing, and travel for the 3 months that I will be on the missions field. Thank you for giving/considering giving a donation of any kind. I am so blessed to have a community standing behind me!
