Unity in the Community

Hi, my name is Yolanda Peterson, owner and visionary of Raised Bakery and Cafe’.

I was raised in West Chicago and have lived here most of my life. I have seen the community change so much. God put it on my heart to create a space with good food, good drinks and space to connect with others in the West Chicago community. My hope in bringing Raised Bakery and Cafe' to West Chicago is that it could be a story where unity can begin in a diverse community, a place where people would be able to connect with others, and that it would bring some vitality to downtown West Chicago. I have been at this since 2019 and am in the final phase. I am asking for $40,000 to get the last things I need for the kitchen. Will you consider partnering with me?
