Marathon for MND

Hi, my name is Curtis Mundy,

I have been challenged by my pastoral leader at school to make a difference in an area I am passionate about. Motor Neurone Disease is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. It causes weakness that gets worse over time. The person that inspired me to act on MND was Neale Danhier. Neale was an AFL footballer that has now been diagnosed with MND. he has raised over 20 million dollars for MND cure research. For my act, I will be water-skiing 42.2km(marathon distance). All funds raised are donated directly to the top MND Research facilities in Australia in order to further our understanding of this disease, in the hope of one day living in a world free from MND.
