On Thanksgiving, a member of our school community, Melanie Fillerup, suffered a horrible accident and ended up in the ICU with 3rd degree burns over 70% of her legs. Melanie was airlifted to a regional Burn Center and is undergoing treatment there.
Melanie is the mother of one of our sweet preschool students. She was between jobs and is without health care. In addition to her family being worried about her recovery, they are also worried about being able to pay the inevitable medical bills and expenses.
As a member of our school family, we want to help Melanie and her family any way we can. We have started this campaign to help Melanie's family pay for her recovery, and cover their expenses while Melanie is healing.
