Live Kidney Donor

As some of you may know my Aunt Bernice Thompson is in Kidney failure and has been sick for some time now...My aunt means so much to me that words could never explain.  Something tugged at my heart ❤️ when I learned of her need. After prayerful consideration, and the support of my family, I decided to undergo medical testing and was informed that I was a match ! God knew that I needed my aunt in my life for a while longer that he blessed me to be a match to donate her one of my kidneys....This was the most exciting news I’ve ever gotten in my entire life .. I have a chance to save a life, not just any life but the life of my aunt. 

The purpose of this fund is to cover some of the cost, which include lost wages during the recovery period since I transferred to a new job I want qualify for any FMLA nor do I have enough sick days to cover the 8 week period I will be out of work . 

I’m so nervous about having this major elective surgery. However, I feel extremely blessed and fortunate that I am very healthy to be able to save a life ...
