Help Christopher Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Denise, and I am fundraising for my Son Christopher to raise money to help him fight cancer. Christopher was a typical kid who attended River Hill High School in Clarksville, MD. Christopher, a charter member of NSBE Columbia Chapter loves to socialize with friends, he participated in breakdance, had good grades, and held down two jobs in preparation for his journey to college after his acceptance to Morehouse College.
During the first semester of Christopher's freshman year at Morehouse College, he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and has been undergoing both Radiation and Chemo treatments to help fight off this disease all while remaining a fulltime student, taking classes from his hospital bed and home. Christopher has been fortunate enough to be accepted into the Mayo Clinic where he has received a special radiation treatment called a "Proton-Boost" to focus on the impacted area of the brain while working to save healthy cells.
While Christopher is still considered a minor and covered under my health insurance, it's not nearly enough to cover the actual cost to fight this disease. Christopher has chemo treatments as well as physical and occupational therapy for the next several months. Even though Christopher has this battle to fight, he will continue his educational journey on campus at Morehouse College in Atlanta this fall, while making the needed trips back and forth to Arizona to receive continued treatment at the Mayo Clinic.
The money we are raising for Christopher will be used to continue to pay for his medical treatments at the Mayo Clinic as well as pay for his expenses to fly between Atlanta and Arizona for continued treatment. It's imperative Christopher is able to focus on integrating himself into a positive environment and come out of isolation and we believe focusing on his education and being around other students will aid in his recovery. Most importantly, Christopher has to have the treatments in order to beat this thus there is a sense of urgency in this request.
We continue to lift Christopher up in faith and prayer as we know God has blessed him with a healing. He continues to get stronger each day. We are asking for your urgent assistance in helping Christopher to continue the fight of his life and cover the cost of his continued treatments. For those who cannot contribute financially, we ask that you please lift Christopher up in prayer. For those that can support him financially, we thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity in helping to fight this disease.
