(3:92)لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
[Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah ] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. ]
Alhamdulillah (THANK GOD) for the blessings, we have attained,
Today I want to speak to you about our beautiful brothers and sisters in Yemen. While me and you are able to drink cool crisp water and eat table spreads of warm food, children and adults in Yemen go days and nights with nothing to eat and nothing to drink!!! In fact, one child under five dies every 10 minutes from preventable causes. We as humans should not turn our backs on our beautiful population in Yemen.
The Yemeni Student Association at the University of Wayne State and University of Michigan has started a project to collect funds to help those in need!! We invite you to join us on the mission and the ability to change many lives in Yemen. With the money you donate, we will feed, cloth, and give the necessary medications and help that is needed in Yemen!!
All proceeds will be sent to YemenAid Inc.
