Fighting Cancer With Michelle Olson

On June 4, 2020, Michelle Olson received the unexpected and devastating news that she has Stage IV metastatic epithelioid Leiomyosarcoma.  This is an extremely rare soft tissue cancer, which has spread to her uterus, abdomen, bones and lungs. Due to the aggressive nature of this particular cancer, immediate intensive treatment will be required.

Michelle is 44 years old and lives in rural Viroqua with her significant other, Art Lander.  She is the daughter of Mike and Lorna Olson of rural Viroqua.  Michelle graduated from VHS in 1994 and currently works at Ridge to Rivers Animal Clinic, where she has lovingly cared for countless animals over the past 18 years.

Michelle has a passion for animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses.  Michelle enjoys spending time with family, especially her much adored niece and nephew.
