Flawed Hero London Marathon 2025

Flawed Hero or more like Foolish Hero

Tomorrow at midnight I am taking part in the Flawed Hero Midnight Marathon in Letchworth. If that's no enough I foolishly suggested that I would do a DIY Ironman. So at 7.00am tomorrow morning I am swimming 152 lengths of Hitchin Pool, followed by a 180km cycle with co competitor Jim Rees before heading over to Letchworth for the main event. Yes mad!

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much.

We’ve all had our lives affected by cancer.

Pancreatic Cancer is the deadliest common cancer. The brutal reality is that diagnosis comes far too late for most people. Half of people die within three months of diagnosis. And research into the disease is underfunded and left behind. So, families are left with only hope to hang on to.

But hope is not enough. The disease must be detected sooner.

And it can be.

Thanks to the work of amazing researchers, a simple test to detect the cancer earlier is within reach. It just needs more funding. That’s why we’re delighted to be supporting this incredible charity
