Help Krista Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Amy and I am fundraising for my beautiful sister Krista. In April 2021, Krista was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer soon before her 30th birthday. It has spread into her liver and part of her lungs. Her liver is taking up the whole right side of her torso. Our family was shocked and devastated to say the least. She is so young and lives a very active and healthy lifestyle. Doctors say this kind of thing typically happens to people over 50. Other than a painful, hardened and enlarged liver, Krista has had no symptoms. She just went into the doctor because she thought her stomach was bloated. From the outside she looks as healthy as can be. Doctors and family alike are puzzled.

We are not accepting anything other than her making a full recovery and kicking cancer in the butt. She has recently started an aggressive treatment of chemo and has thankfully seen some promising results after only 1 round. She will continue doing chemo every other week for 2 months at which point she will get more imaging done to see if the cancer has shrunk enough to safely perform surgery. If it hasn't, she will continue the chemo treatment. I am asking for anyone who has the means to make a contribution of any kind to help Krista cover medical expenses. Krista has one of the most kindest, sweetest souls and has been so strong throughout the pain and horrible side effects of getting chemo. We want her to focus on her recovery and relieve the other stresses in her life. Krista's loved ones are committed to helping her reach her dreams of getting married to her fiancé Keith, buying her first home and starting a family, new pup included.
