The Sunflower Project
Donation protected
In honour of those who lost their lives due to Covid 19 I would like to create a garden of Sunflo wers in front of the Provincial Parliament building at Queens Park. One Sunflower for every missed celebration, One for every goodbye cut short and one Sunflower for every life. By the time I have finished I will have created over 4000 flowers,
As a professional artist I have worked in many mediums including stone carving. My most recent work Durable Fragility received a grant from the OAC. Come look at my work
Your funds will go to the purchase of a 3D printer and filament for thousands of Sunflowers. Enclosed is a prototype of the sunslower I will use. By using glow in the dark filament my flowers will have a spiritual quality and be seen at night.
Your support will create a visible memorial for all to see and honour those who passed and their families.
