In Memory of Gina

Everyone who knew Gina has been tremendously blessed by her beautiful spirit. We can all say, we are better people for having had the gift of Gina in our lives. She gave us all endless love and joy and she expressed gratitude for her friends and family daily. Gina never ever wavered in her deep faith or her love for her family and friends. She was the kind of mother we all aspire to be: endlessly devoted and always present to her three beautiful children.
Over seven years ago, she received the worst news anyone can imagine: Stage four breast cancer at 36 years old. For all those days since, Gina fought and worked and prayed and did everything she possibly could to beat back that cancer. We all know she suffered through so much because she wanted to be here for her kids. And she lived years beyond even the most optimistic medical predictions. Even in her final moments on this earth, she was thinking of her kids and her whole family and her beloved friends. She still would look everyone right in the eye, even as her voice was failing and her breathing strained and say "you ok?" She joked with friends and family to the very end, spreading that Gina smile and Gina joy to others. On March 15, 2018 Gina passed peacefully in her sleep, her adoring mom by her side.
Gina needs us to rally around her kids and husband. Her wishes in death were humble as she asked for the most basic funeral and burial possible. Any financial help we can give to her family to cover funeral services and burial during this impossible time will be a heartfelt tribute to Gina and offer meaningful financial support to her family in this hard time. Raising the whole amount of $8,000 to cover the estimated cost of the funeral and burial would be incredible, but any fraction of the goal will be a huge help to Gina's children and family.
Love to you all.
