Youth Thailand Mission Trip
Donation protected
Alex Dill, Tyler Kwiatkowski and Owen Flint have been classmates and friends since they were in kindergarten together at St. Joan of Arc School, Nashotah, WI. The school children have been supporting Sarnelli House Orphanage in Thailand since their first days as 5 year olds through prayer and fundraising. Now as 8th graders they have the opportunity to see first-hand the fruits of their efforts by traveling to Sarnelli House, an orphanage set up by a Catholic Redemptorist Priest, Michael Shea in 2004. The House was set up to combat the AIDS epidemic that was wiping out a generation, resulting in orphaned and unwanted children.
While there, the boys will be engaging the children, assisting the staff and outreaching to the neighboring villages by taking them medicine. We can only imagine the life-long impact this trip will have on them, bridging their Christian values they learned at SJOA with real-life experiences.
The funds raised will be used for expenses for the boys and their two chaperones to travel to Sarnelli House in March of 2018. Any additional money will be donated directly to Sarnelli House to help fund their efforts. Our goal is to raise all funds by the end of January 2018.
Upon their return, the boys will be hosting a dinner for all their sponsors to share their story through photos and express their gratitude as a result of your generosity.
*Due to insurance liability, the school, the church nor the archdiocese may support this out-of-country trip, so we are raising money privately.
