Young Mother & Teacher Battling Stage 3 Breast Cancer

We are Megan and Christy, and we are organizing this fundraiser to support a wonderful young family and our friend. Lauran, a dedicated teacher, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and has exhausted all her sick days. With two small children, one in daycare, the family is facing significant financial challenges. Our goal is to help alleviate some of the burdens they are experiencing during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go towards medical expenses, childcare, and daily living costs, allowing this family to focus on what truly matters—healing and spending time together.

I am 1 in 3.

I have stage 3 breast cancer, as detected this past week. 1 mass in my boob and 2 nodes. ALL which can be REMOVED! Praise the LORD JESUS. I have a LONG battle ahead of me, but one of the BIGGEST battles I have is Wednesday during a CT SCAN to make sure the cancer isn't anywhere else in my body and WE CAN CURE IT. If it is other places, unfortunately I will be battling the rest of my life.

PLEASE pray for our family, for my BABIES, and for my husband and doctors to help me so I can be here for A MILLION more years. PRAY that this is contained into my boob and nodes and isn't anywhere else. This IS NOT a death sentence for me. BUT IT IS A WAKEUP CALL. Lord Jesus PLEASE be with me through this process and PLEASE don't let the cancer have spread. I will be undergoing treatment as well as a double mastectomy and hopefully getting some reconstruction done. But my battle is with this, and I don't know how long it will be. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE rise up around me and pray like you've never prayed. You may not know what to say, as we haven't known what to say, but I can tell you one of the BEST comments I've gotten is "How can I love you best today?" Or “I’m gonna bring you some dinner.” I am a fighter and I have always been a fighter. I will kick this cancers ass and be around for my family for as long as GOD WILLIN'. I've seen miracles, my dad is one of them. I know GOD WILL SHOW UP FOR ME. It may be IN THE FIRE, but he always does. Pray for a clear CT scan, because that will determine if it will be apart of my life forever or not.

GO GET A MAMOGRAM! Even if you are healthy and think nothing of it. I DON'T CARE if you've not "40". I am an extremely rare case, don't be the next.
