Young Legends Street Hockey- Street Hockey Rink

The Young Legends Street Hockey Board of Directors and Rink Committee is starting a new Go Fund me campaign after receiving a Community Preservation Act grant in the amount of $100,000. Young Legends has now raised $118,000. Our project will cost $310,000 total.
We are making this rink a state of art facility outdoor street hockey rink that will be utilized by the community and allow Young Legends Street Hockey to grow our organization to include youth, adult, and high school leagues and tournaments. Help us make Gloucester the hub of street hockey on the North Shore. Thank you for your consideration.
"When designing this rink, I think of the stories of organized and unorganized street hockey being played in the city of Gloucester for generations. I think of the athletes who stay out and play under the street lights, pretending it’s game 7 of the Stanley Cup Play-offs. I think of the athletes, who have to stop their games, move their nets because a car is coming. I think of everyone, who plays this simple game, purely for the love and joy. We owe it to the past, present, and future generations to create the best street hockey facility. A facility to foster fun, cement the continued love of street hockey, but most importantly, forge memories that will last a life time. I assure we will do that."
