Young family suffers devastating loss of home

Micah Gaston is a proud, hard working man who adores his wife and two young children, so I won’t ask for permission to help them recover from the severe weather in Alabama Jan. 11 that destroyed their mobile home beyond repair, I’ll ask for forgiveness when I tell him about the wonderful people who joined me.

Micah and Sienna live in Lincoln with their two children, Kaylee (3) and MJ (1). As the severe weather was approaching Lincoln, they sought shelter with relatives. When they returned home, they found a giant oak tree had fallen into their home destroying the master bedroom and living room. Because of the severe damage to the home, it was deemed a total loss. Micah and Sienna have insurance on the contents, but because of the age of the home, they did not have insurance on the structure. While they evaluate their finances and next steps, they will stay with Micah’s father.

Any assistance you can provide to help them replace their home is very much appreciated by Micah, Sienna, Kaylee and MJ, as well as their family. Although this is a difficult time for them, they are blessed and thankful to be safe and in good health.
