I am Nicole Young, and Robert and Nancy are my parents. Robert and Nancy have been married 52 years. They have raised 5 children. Nancy unexpectedly passed away on January 10, 2017, leaving a very shocked, devastated, and heart-broken family.
Being the planners that they are, 30 years ago, they purchased two burial plots for 5,000 dollars, operating under the knowledge that they had covered the whole cost of the burial. Upon Nancy's death, Robert is finding out, that more money is needed to bury Nancy as she had wished. The money needed is the bare minimum necessary to cover the basic costs of a burial, and money is needed as soon as possible.
Robert and Nancy are very proud, hard working people, that have worked so hard to live independently all these years. However,but now, Robert is faced with these burial costs that he cannot afford with his Social Security alone, as he is disabled from a stroke.
