”You should write...”

People are always asking me when I’m gonna write it all down. When I’m going to get back to poetry. When I’ll make the time to create art again. Those of you who know me know that there are parts of this adventure that have been a rough road. You’ve been there. And, LAWD, some of you have stuck around to see me change. There’ve been some real nail-biters. Absolute pearl-clutches. And that don’t mean there won’t be again... but for now... I’m sane(ish) and sober. I got into The HOMEschool for six days of being immersed in an intensive program that foregrounds interdisciplinary experimentation and collaboration in poetry. It’s my dream. I need a lil help getting there. I got a scholarship and am working all angles! This includes travel, room & board, and tuition!
